## About

###### The Emerald Necklace Conservancy was started in 1998 to maintain, restore, and protect seven parks in Boston so that everyone can explore, use and enjoy them.

###### The Emerald Necklace Conservancy organizes volunteers to keep the parks and forests healthy by removing invasive plant species and cleaning up garbage; holding free events like tours, concerts and movies for the whole family; and offering a high school jobs program.
