Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit food rescue organization that crowdsources community members as volunteer “Rescuers” to use our purpose-built web application to redistribute surplus food from businesses to nonprofits that serve people suffering from hunger and food insecurity.

• All Ages encouraged!
• No minimum time commitment is required: volunteer one-time, sporadically or on a recurring basis.
• Daily volunteering opportunities to choose from morning, afternoon and night throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
• FulfillCommunity Service Hours: Documentation for proof of volunteering is available upon request.
• Safety guidelines are in place to ensure zero person-to-person contact.
• Go solo or as a team of family members, friends, co-workers, etc.
• Rescue via 2 feet, 2 wheels, 4 wheels, or MBTA Subway.
• A typical Rescue Event averages less than one hour of volunteering time.
