Each year MitoAction hosts a fundraiser in Boston, MA - SKR Derby Day Benefit for Mito. Â This event raises critical funds to support families and individuals effected by mitochondrial disease. Â Most import, SKR Derby Day raises funds to send children with mitochondrial disease to summer camp and allows MitoAction to grant once-in-a-lifetime wish trips for kids affected by this rare disease. Â We are looking for volunteers to help us set-up and decorate for this really important event. Â The event will take place in Boston on Saturday, May 6th but decorations can be assembled off-site and ahead of the live event. Decorations include balloon arches & columns, paper flowers, centerpieces, etc.
If you are working off-site, we will have all necessary supplies delivered to you and we will make arrangements for pick-up or delivery of the pre-assembled items one or two days prior to the event on May 6th.
