About

The Friends Of The Blue Hills takes care of the Blue Hills Reservation, an amazing park that has many amazing opportunities to have fun, including over 100 miles of trails for hiking, biking and skiing with your family and friends. The Blue Hills is the size of 7,000 football fields and is where many plants and animals live.

The Friends of the Blue Hills organizes volunteers to keep the forests healthy by removing invasive species, clearing the trails so that people can enjoy the park, holding seasonal free events for the whole family and protecting the park from people building things like office complexes and hotels within the park boundaries.

Create the Change® partners with nonprofit organizations that we believe offer age-appropriate service opportunities for youth and families. All of our partners sign a collaboration agreement promising to provide age-appropriate activities in a safe environment.

Create the Change® does not run, host, or facilitate the service opportunities seen here, nor are we responsible in any way for the management (financial or otherwise) of the organizations we feature.

Always be sure to do your own research on the nonprofit organization and service opportunities available to make sure it's a good fit for you before getting started. You may find the organization's contact information on their profiles.
