About

Reading Partners exists to help K-4th grade students gain the reading skills they need to reach their full potential. Our mission is to help children become lifelong readers by empowering communities to provide individualized instruction with measurable results. We've been in the Silicon Valley for over 21 years, and we're in 15 schools ranging from Belmont to San Jose.

Reading Partners knows that community volunteers can make a huge impact. We look for volunteers who can commit to 1 hour per week to make a connection with a student and commit to a least 1 semester of tutoring. We train our volunteers, track service hours, and provide everything that's needed to be a successful tutor.

Always be sure to do your own research on the nonprofit organization and service opportunities available to make sure it's a good fit for you before getting started. You may find the organization's contact information on their profiles.
