About

Established in 1971, the mission of Meals on Wheels of Long Beach (MOWLB) is to Nourish, Comfort and Protect those who are homebound due to age, disability or physical/mental health condition.

Our goal of is to help homebound, elderly, veterans and disabled persons maintain a sense of independence, with an improved quality of life while remaining in their own homes.

Meals on Wheels of Long Beach (MOWLB) volunteers provide warm and loving contact by delivering meals and spending a few minutes with individuals who may not have the ability to engage in any other way.

We are always looking for more volunteers!

When you volunteer for Meals on Wheels of Long Beach you’re doing your part to guarantee meals are delivered to the more than 350 people across the Long Beach, Signal Hill and Leisure World, Seal Beach areas. You can volunteer to deliver meals once a week, once a month, with a friend, with a group or on your own – whatever works best for you!

Every time you volunteer with MOWLB you are helping those who need our services to remain independent.
